My days at Murdoch University hold fond memories that never fail to bring a smile on my face. This was where I met Andrew, my husband and also Benedict—the trio who started The Soup Spoon! This is also the place where I learned to make chicken soup—a classic favourite of my then-student self. Little did I know, this would kindle my interest in ‘soupology’ and ultimately be a ‘soupreneur’ ten years on!
Anyway, as I was doing my usual browsing on the Internet, I chanced upon these series of books titled ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul.’ I was really inspired by how co-authors Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen’s books have transpired them to achieve stardom, fame and wealth. They are the franchise kings with book instalments covering the teenage soul, the chiropractic soul and down to the fearless flight kit.
Truly, chicken soup is—and will always be—special and forever etched in my heart and soul.
